What is sustainability in winemaking?

Other wineries claim sustainability, we define it.

FACTS ON WHAT SUSTAINABLITY IS

Resource Conservation:  True resource conservation means lowest use of finite resources such as Water, Energy, Raw Materials and Land as well as the focus of reducing any creation of waste or greenhouse gasses.

To say that a product is sustainable means that it is designed, produced, and used in a way that minimizes its negative impact on the environment, society, and economy throughout its entire life cycle. Sustainability encompasses various aspects, including resource conservation, environmental protection, social responsibility, and economic viability.

RESOURCE CONSERVATION

A sustainable product aims to minimize the use of finite resources such as water, energy, raw materials, and land. It focuses on reducing waste generation and optimizing resource efficiency.

We use no water for irrigation, no farm equipment with any engines, and create zero waste in our production.  We have no agricultural by products or other emmisions in our operational facility.

Environmental protection

Sustainable products are designed to have minimal negative impacts on the environment. This includes reducing greenhouse gas emissions, minimizing pollution (air, water, and soil), conserving biodiversity, and protecting ecosystems.

Our Perduret is made from Honey, this is harvested from protected and cared for honey bee hives.  Honey based products are the mainstay of needed items in an effort to fund protection of Honey bee hive colony collapse.  Beekeepeers need to be paid for the honey in order for them to have the business of caring for the bees, and in turn for all humanity.  We have zero negative impact on our environment and operate the winery as a wildlife reserve of native habitat.  The entire native ecosystem on our winery has never been touched.  It is protected and left untouched maintaining the already natural biodiversity forever.

social responsibility

A sustainable product takes into account the social aspects of its production and use. This involves ensuring fair labor practices, promoting worker safety and well-being, respecting human rights, and supporting local communities. Companies may engage in ethical sourcing of materials, provide fair wages and benefits to workers, and contribute to community development initiatives.

Our Perduret supports the local community and is a charity event participant in multiple 501k organizations.  We operate in fairness and equality with all of those whom do business with us throughout the world.

Economic viability

Sustainability also considers the economic aspect of a product's life cycle. A sustainable product should be economically viable for both the producer and the consumer. This means that it should be affordable for consumers while still allowing manufacturers to cover their costs and make a profit. Additionally, sustainable products often contribute to long-term economic growth by fostering innovation and creating new job opportunities in green industries.

Perduret supports the economic aspect of environmental protection by providing a commercial value to native habitat.  No longer is untouched wild land considered useless, and can remain untouched and still create amazing wines.  Wines created from nature do not carry the heavy burden of a grape vineyard in water, land, labor, and fertilizing and chemical treatments.  This creates an endless chain of symbotic relationship between the winemaker and the forest  and as demand for wine from nature grows it will create new jobs for people in all types of areas and drive environmental native habitat conservation.

Overall, a sustainable product is one that strives to balance environmental protection, social responsibility, and economic viability. It aims to meet present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.  This is our mission, this is Perduret.
